ANTHURIUM FAST FACTS:
The anthurium produces flowers that are thick, waxy and often resemble a heart shape. The higher the quality of the flower, the more it appears symmetrical and hence, they are often mistaken to be fake. The flowers are long lasting and make a perfect bouquet on their own, or gracefully accessorize other flowers in arrangements

How to grow Anthuriums:
Plant your anthurium in a mixture of media that follows this ratio: 1 part peat moss to 2 parts perlite (or sponge rock). Good drainage is essential for anthurium survival. Also vital is shade. Try to keep your anthuriums in shade that is only 60% to 90% of full sunlight. For this reason, it will be best if you grow your anthurium plant indoors or in a greenhouse. Anthuriums thrive in temperature that ranges from 65℉ at night to 80℉ during the day. Fertilizer that is a 5-10-10, 10-20-20 or 16-16-16 formulation, works very well (use according to the instructions). Remember to water your anthurium daily and mist around the leaves to create the right environment of humidity.
